Paul Biedermann (GER)
200m Freistil/free, Sieger/winner in 1:39,37 (Weltrekord/World
record): “
Canada
's Brent Hayden really chased me on the first 100 metres. But I knew that
the second 100 metre were mine alone. I hope that with today's record I'll
leave Michael Phelps behind – at least as far as the 200m free are
concerned. I really feel at home in
Berlin
and that is why I wanted to show the fans here what I'm able to
achieve.”
