Sites and Dates for the Fina/Arena Swimming World Cup 2011

The Fina/Arena Swimming Worldcup Berlin 2011 will take place in Berlin, SSE (Schwimm- und Sprunghalle im Europasportpark), Paul-Heyse-Straße 26, 10407 Berlin as of October, 22^nd - 23^rd 2011.

General Meet Information

• For this competition, entries will be accepted only from national federations affiliated to FINA. National federations may choose to send either a National Team or club representatives.

• There are no time standards for international athletes.

• All entry times for the 400 IM, 800 freestyle and 1500 freestyle will be converted to short course results for the purpose of accurate seeding.

• An additional prize  will be offered at this event. Details will be announced as soon as possible. Traditionally we offer a middleclass car for the best performance during the Fina/Arena Swimming Worldcup Berlin.

• Please check here the information about prize money and scoring system.

• This meet is subject to standard drug testing procedures.
  

  Deadlines 

• Preliminary entries are due to GSMS Sport Marketing Service not later than September 10^th, 2011.

• Room requirements are due to GSMS Sport Marketing Service not later than September 14^th, 2011. To avoid cancellation charges the Organizing Office must be notified of changes by the latest September 14^th, 2011. 

• Travel information for foreign teams are due to GSMS Sport Marketing Service not later than September 14^th, 2011

• Final entries  and accreditation forms for foreign teams are due to GSMS Sport Marketing Service not later than October 12^th, 2011.

• Accommodation must be fully prepaid before September 16^th, 2011.
  Otherwise we cannot guarantee your reservation will be held.

• The BOC can guarantee hotel reservations only until September 16^th, 2011. Reservations received after this date are subject to availabitliy.
